Randomly tried this with a buddy last weekend, and actually had quite a bit of fun with this one. Classic vs. shooter game where you have two buttons to aim your gun up and down, and one to fire, while moving your character to dodge with the stick. Originally, there was a second stick used to aim up and down with a trigger on it for fire. The cacti and wagon can be used for cover, but you only get 6 shots so you gotta make ’em count! When both players are out of ammo, the board resets. The background artwork seems a bit off-center, but does not hinder the gameplay experience, though both scores are not visible at the same time on CRT. Some weird alignment issues in this one. Set the time in the dip switches for longer games (up to 90 seconds).
This is the sequel to the Taito game « Western Gun » (Gun Fight), and uses a variation of the Space Invaders arcade hardware.
