I asked, you answered…and I try to listen 🙂 Of all the requests for new content on the channel one of the most frequently asked for videos is a series on the Terasic DE-10 Nano MiSTer FPGA hardware…so here it is!

On this episode of our MiSTer series we will be revisiting the PC Engine and TurboGrafx CD core functionality. I will show you how to get it set up, map your controllers, and the optional video filters (my advice…leave them untouched) and give you my thoughts on the PC Engine Core! Is MiSTer as good as the original retro gaming hardware? Lets see!

Additionally I have reviewed the core for accuracy against an original PC Engine Duo-R with original games so you can see just how accurate the core is. This is where the update comes in! We will be looking to see if the bugs I found were fixed and if the PC Engine MiSter core is as amazing as the rest of the MiSTer cores are!

Add the BIN/CUE files into the Turbografx folder under « Games » and leave each game in it’s own folder.
