I asked, you answered…and I try to listen 🙂 Of all the requests for new content on the channel one of the most frequently asked for videos is a series on the Terasic DE-10 Nano MiSTer FPGA hardware…so here it is!
On this episode of our MiSTer series we will be going over the Sega Genesis / Sega Mega Drive FPGA Core. I will walk you through a setup tutorial, talk about how to handle ROM region differences to make sure your games boot, go over all the MiSTer settings to make sure you have an optimal game experience and everything else you need to know to play Genesis / Mega Drive games on the MiSTer. It’s a full « MiSTer How to » for your Genesis!
Additionally I have reviewed the core for accuracy against an original Sega CDX and wow…it’s incredible.
I will be doing a separate episode on the Sega CD / Mega CD as it’s a separate core and it requires an entirely different tutorial and setup!
