Suddenly over the weekend Unstable MiSTer received a preliminary build of the Sega Saturn core from SRG320…and you can play it today! Granted it is EXTREMELY early and it’s still experimental but having Sega Saturn on MiSTer FPGA is a retro gaming miracle!

Consider supporting SRG320. He could use it!

I asked, you answered…and I try to listen 🙂 Of all the requests for new content on the channel one of the most frequently asked for videos is a series on the Terasic DE-10 Nano MiSTer FPGA hardware…so here it is! Retro gaming goodness.

On this episode of our MiSTer series we are going to be talking about the recent happenings in the MiSTer FPGA scene in regards to the Sega Saturn! First we got PlayStation 1/ PS1 in FPGA…and now the march towards a full Saturn core is upon us! Sure the core is VERY preliminary but this gets the hype building for what is coming…retrogaming gold!

So maybe grab the unstable build and start testing and helping report bugs!

Let’s see what June brings!
