Setting up your MiSTer FPGA for DOS Gaming – AO486 Core

Here is a video to setup the AO486 core for MiSTer. I will guide you through preparing the AO486 core, installing DOS and configuring DOS.

Fixing EMS in DOS:
Replace the EMM386.exe lines in config.sys with this:
device=c:dosemm386.exe 4096 RAM FRAME=e000 d=256 x=a000-c7ff i=c800-efff

Sound Blaster Settings
SET BLASTER text for autoexec.bat:
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 T6
Game Settings
MIDI Sound Blaster: Port 220
MIDI Adlib: Port 388
Digital Audio: Sound Blaster or Sound blaster 16
Port: 220
IRQ: 5
DMA: 1
High/16 bit DMA: 5
