N64 MiSTer FPGA – WIP Core Live Testing (20230820)

A Live Stream to test the Latest build of the Nintendo 64 Core released earlier today the 20th of August 2023. Expect plenty of glitches and black screens, but overall the experience is getting better Let’s have some fun together.

Robert Peip aka FPGAzumSpass has been working tirelessly on bringing the N64 over to the MiSTer FPGA DE10 NANO. A lot of progress has been made, and many games boot up and characters in game can be controlled. – allow loading of most rom formats: .v64, .n64, .N64, .z64 (by markun)
– RSP: implement vector unit stalling
– RSP: add savestate loading for IMEM/DMEM
– RDP: fix DPC_STATUS_start_pending reset condition, fixes random hang
– add optional FPS overlay
– add error flags for combineAlpha and sdram mux
